Three-Way Switch Comfort Control
(Dreiwegweichen-Komfortsteureung)
I assisted a colleague in redesigning an old circuit for controlling RC trains using KiCad. I opted for tracks with a width of 0.75mm.
The PCB originally started as a single-layer design, but upon realizing that it was a bit congested, I made the decision to switch it to a 2-layer PCB in the end.
The render provided here was directly generated from KiCad, and I believe it presents a visually appealing result.

Magic Wand Electronic Design
I would like to share my Magic Wand electronic design with you.
I aimed to use cost-effective electronic components in Digikey or Mouser. Besides that, I wanted the parts to have 3D models, and to be RoHS-compliant, active, and in stock.
While making the design, I used Altium Circuitmaker design software for the schematic and PCB.
Altium Circiutmaker is a free software that is very similar to Altium designer.
I chose the widths:
Tracks -> 10mil
VCC -> 20mil
GND -> 20mil
Everything is SMD without LEDs, an electrolytic capacitor, and the switch to reduce manufacturing costs due to the drillingÂ
My magic wand is working with three AAA batteries.
There is no jumper on my design.Â
